The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a coalition of non-profit health and environmental groups that was launched in 2004 with the goal of protecting the health of consumers and workers by working for the elimination of dangerous chemicals form cosmetics and beauty products.

The campaign has partnered with the Santa Monica Museum of Art in California to conduct a hands-on workshop called "Cause for Creativity: The Alchemy of Grooming." Participants in this workshop learn to make "green" cosmetic and grooming products, including a fragrant lavender skin tonic and lemongrass healing ointment. There was also a video by Annie Leonard shown called "The Story of Cosmetics: The Ugly Truth of 'Toxics In, Toxics Out.'" This documentary is a potent overview of the dangerous unhealthy ingredients that can be found in some commercial beauty products.

A few centuries ago, only the rich whore cosmetics. A few decades ago, only adults wore cosmetics. A few years ago, only those who were teenagers or above wore cosmetics. Now, Walmart is planning to market a new line of makeup specifically for "tweens", or specifically, children between the ages 8 and 12.

This may come as a very disgusting announcement, but it also has its bright side. These more researched and developed cosmetics may be able to develop a good skin on them when they grow older. Also, it could help foster a sense of self confidence that may not have existed had they not had a chance to interact with such things. After all, this really isn't news. Many companies have marketed children's perfume in the past, what's to stop people from marketing cosmetics?

Resting is essential, so don't get out of bed until you have had eight hours of sleep. Never avoid physical exercises, in order to burn fat and strengthen muscles. Yoga, aerobics or Pilates are a great help in this matter, as well as daily breathing exercises fro great tonus.

Limit the consumption of salt and sugar, stop using sun flower oil, and eat fruits or nutritive supplements. Try to give up dinner, which is usually fat rich and difficult to digest. Let your eyes be spoiled with natural compresses of cucumbers, and place uncooked potatoes on your eyes to remove dark circles.

Tomatoes do wonders when it comes to expression wrinkles, and dark spots or even freckles encounter a real enemy in coconut oil. Vitamin E is the secret for healthy skin, and vitamin C for shiny skin. Brush your lips every morning with a soft brush and a little toothpaste, to remove dead cells and have softer lips. For a whiter smile, brush your teeth with salt and lemon.
