Sun block time is here again

Sun block time is here again

If you haven't started wearing sun block yet, make sure you are not spending any time out in the sun. Depending upon your skin type, even fifteen minutes of sun can be enough to damage your skin.

Keeping your skin healthy can be achieved without spending lots of money going to the spa. Of course, it's always nice spending time at the spa because it can be so relaxing, but basic skin care should be part of our everyday life, not a luxury.

Our skin is the biggest organ by which toxins leave our body. Drinking lots of water helps remove toxins from our body and also keeps our skin hydrated and supple. Always use a moisturizer and, if you are unsure which one to use, go to the skin products counter at your local large department store and get a free consultation from a skin technician.

It is very common for women to say they don't use moisturizer because they have oily skin. Oil and moisture are very different and even the oiliest skin needs moisture. The best types of moisturizer for your face are none perfumed. Perfumed moisturizers typically contain alcohol and alcohol is a drying agent.

Don't forget the rest of your body when it comes to using moisturizer. Legs especially need moisturizer when they are exposed to the sun. Following some simple guidelines can keep your skin looking fresh and supple.
